As most of you know, I HATE gum. I don't like to chew it, I don't like to smell it, I don't like to see it, and I definitely don't like to touch it. Today while cleaning tables at work, I stepped in gum. Enough said. #itstoughbeingawoman
Well, I have to admit it. I watch "The Bachelorette". I wish I didn't, and haters gonna hate...and people gonna judge. But I don't care. I love relationships okay!?! Anyway...I was catching up on the latest episode last night. Emily (the bachelorette) was on a one-on-one date with one of the guys and at the end, she had to offer him the rose to stay or send him home right then and there. Well, she decided to send him home and I just started sobbing! Anna walked upstairs in perfect timing, saw me and started laughing and I say, "Why do I watch this?? I just really liked Travis (the guy)! He's not even my favorite but I just want him to find love so bad!" Oh yeah, it's the hormones. hahaha Man, #itstoughbeingawoman ;)
Oh I love it Dani....I would be watching it right with you girlfriend, but my time is being consumed with finishing my master's final project these next 2 weeks. BLAH! I have watched the past seasons for quite a few years now, but the funny thing is... this last year, Dan started watching them with me. Haha. Shhh...don't tell him I told you. After each episode he would say, "why do you watch this trash!" But the next week...haha...he would be right on the couch next to me watching it, getting sucked into the emotions & drama. Secretly I think he enjoyed it too. He liked dissecting peoples' communication skills and figuring out their motives. And Dani...I LOVE RELATIONSHIPS TOO!! #itstoughbeingawoman
Here is a humorous story... Last night my mom and I just couldn't get enough of this beautiful weather. We figured the perfect way to FULLY enjoy this day would be to sleep outside on the pool deck, I mean why not ;) Anyways, we blew up the air mattress got all of our blankets outside, were probably sleeping for a few short hours until it instantly started to downpour, not just a light sprinkle... full on rainstorm, needless to say we made our way inside quickly (probably where we should have been the whole time). What a wake-up! #itstougheingawoman
So I tweeted this out last night, but how is it that every time Dan wants to use my Jeep ("our" Jeep whatever...I am the primary driver) that it's on E. Empty, hardly any gas? I swear the gas gauge is on 1/4 and then as I drive home to Sheptucky I end up on E. Come on...what is this?! Is there a little gas guy in my tank draining the gas, who gets pleasure out of my husband giving me that look like....."Katie, you are so irresponsible, why didn't you fill this up? You were by multiple gas stations all day, why did you drive it home on E. Now we probably won't make it to a gas station!"
Dani and I were talking about swimsuit shopping which then lead to bra shopping. I proceeded to tell her how it is so stinkin' hard to find a bra that fits just right, especially a strapless one... if they don't fit just right they fall down. Man #itstoughbeingawoman

DeleteDani Lynn, I'm watching the Bachelorette right now. I woke up and thought, "yeah that's enough time to watch before work."
